Ron Adams created Adams Ridge winery after
working in the wine industry for 27 years. As an indepenant contractor,
he was in important asset in creating and developing over 30 wine
caves in the Napa and surrounding valleys. Along with his extensive
knowledge and experience in the wine industry, Ron's love for
fine wine lent him creative vision for his own hand crafted wine,
emphasizing the use of caves for optimal climate control, as well
as optimal barrel aging conditions to create a premium handcrafted
product.
The 2004 release of Adams Ridge Cabernet
Sauvignon is rich and vibrant with red and black fruit, sublte
spice and hints of oak. It was hand crafted with grapes from two
Napa Valley's most noteworthy regions, Rutherford and Stag's Leap
District. Aged in 100% new French oak barrels for approx. 20 months,
the wine s vibrant with tannins that carry just a hint of toasty
oak. This wine is delicious and smooth and is a wonderful example
of the Valley's best wine growing regions.
