Henry
LaGarde
Mendoza, Argentina
In 1897, the winery was
founded by Jose Angel Pereira, a captain of the National Artillery
who retired to Lujan de Cuyo region. With no descendants to inherit
the winery he sold the winery to the Pescarmona family in 1977.
Since then the Pescarmona family have maintained the same wine
making traditions of this legendary winery and is now one of the
most celebrated wines in all of Argentina.
Henry is the humoristic name which friends call Enrique Pescarmona,
owner of Lagarde Winery. Enrique or Henry had the idea of launching
this new family of wines. This line of wines is composed of wines
of the highest quality in very small quantities ranging from 3,000
to 6,000 bottles made only from great vintages.
