Tin Barn
2002 Cabernet Sauvignon
Sonoma County

Creek Vineyard is located six miles down a dirt road west of Lake Sonoma and sits on the side of a mountain above 1000 feet elevation. Vineyard owners Peter Beall and Solange Van Der Moer are passionate about the very intense fruit that they supply to us. The 2002 vintage is dark red in color, has deep blackberry fruit flavors and a solid tannin backbone with a chocolate nuance on the finish. The wine has great potential for aging.

Winery
Our approach to winemaking at Tin Barn Vineyards is that the vineyards are the key to making great wine. All of the vineyards we work with are found in unique locations in Sonoma and Napa counties. We feel that the physical location of each vineyard and the dedication of the vineyard owners to producing great fruit provide us with outstanding grapes from which to make great wines. We have forged long-term relationships and grape contracts with our growers to insure the consistency and quality of our grape supplies. All of our grapes sources provide relatively small quantities of grapes such that our production from any one vineyard will be less than 1000 cases annually.
